If You Survived It, God Intends to Rebuild It

Happy New Year 2026!
January is not just the start of a new calendar year—it is an invitation from God to begin again with vision, intention, and faith. As we step into this new year, many people carry a quiet mixture of hope and hesitation. Hope for what could be, and hesitation shaped by what was lost, delayed, or broken in seasons past.
But hear this clearly: God does not waste pain, and He does not abandon what He started.
This is the Year of Rebuild.
Rebuilding is not about pretending nothing happened. It is about standing honestly before God and saying, “Here is what remains—use it.” Rebuild means God takes what was cracked, worn down, or stripped away and restores it with purpose, strength, and wisdom. What you are rebuilding now will not look exactly like what you lost—and that is not a setback. That is grace.
Some of you are rebuilding your faith after disappointment. Others are rebuilding your confidence after rejection, your finances after strain, your family after hardship, or your identity after years of pouring into everyone else but yourself. God is not intimidated by the ruins. He specializes in restoration.
Scripture reminds us: “I will restore the years that the locust has eaten.” (Joel 2:25)
Restoration does not mean rushing. January teaches us the power of alignment before acceleration. Before God rebuilds externally, He rebuilds internally—our thinking, our obedience, our discipline, and our trust. This is a season to reset your foundation, not just your goals.
Rebuilding requires three things:
Faith – believing God even when the blueprint is not fully visible. Action – moving forward despite fear, fatigue, or uncertainty. Boldness – refusing to shrink back because of past failure.
Do not despise small beginnings. Laying one brick at a time is still progress. Praying again is progress. Dreaming again is progress. Trying again is progress. God honors movement, even when it feels fragile.
This year, do not measure success by speed. Measure it by obedience. Measure it by growth. Measure it by peace.
As you move through January, ask God not only what you should rebuild, but how He wants to rebuild it. Trust His timing. Trust His process. Trust His heart toward you.
You did not survive last year by accident. You are still here because God is not finished.
This is your season to rebuild—stronger, wiser, and more anchored in Him than ever before.
With faith and expectancy,
