It's a new season!

Hello September!!!

As we step into this new month, we are reminded that every season carries its own unique assignment and blessings. September is not just another page on the calendar—it is a month of divine surprises, new beginnings, and God-ordained opportunities. From the announcement of love to the launch of new business journeys, this month carries the fragrance of fresh possibilities.

But with every new opportunity comes the reality of opposition. The enemy seeks to distract us through lies, fear, anxiety, and deception. He tries to plant seeds of doubt in our minds and discourage us from stepping boldly into the promises of God. That is why this month, more than ever, we must be watchful, prayerful, and rooted in the Word.

Guarding Our Hearts and Minds

September is a call to guard your heart and mind with intentionality. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to “guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” When fear, worry, or doubt try to creep in, we have the power to push back with truth and prayer.

This month, take time daily to check what thoughts you are entertaining. Are they life-giving, or are they draining your hope? Are they aligned with God’s promises, or are they distractions designed to pull you off course? Guarding your heart is not just about resisting negativity—it is about making space for God’s peace, joy, and clarity to reign.

Covering the Men in Prayer

God has given us a powerful charge for September: cover the men in your family with prayer. The enemy is after their minds, their identity, and their purpose. He wants them bound by fear, crippled by anxiety, and silenced by doubt.

But as believers of Christ, we stand in the gap. We declare freedom, strength, and protection over the men in our homes, churches, and communities. Pray for their minds to be renewed, for their spirits to be uplifted, and for their steps to be ordered by the Lord. Through prayer, we break chains and release God’s covering over their lives.

Drawing Near to God
